Statue of Augustus
At the western end of the Puente Lusitania, the main traffic bridge of Mérida, there is a roundabout. In the mid of this roundabout a copy of the famous statue of Augustus was built.
The original of the statue, called Augustus of Prima Porta, is kept in the Vatican Museums in Rome.
