The Hessenpark Open Air Museum takes its visitors on a voyage of discovery of everyday life in Hessian villages of yesterday. Over a hundred half-timbered houses from five different centuries invite visitors to discover the everyday life of their past inhabitants. There are also craft demonstrations, various exhibitions, seasonal events, performances of the museum theatre, presentation, tours and endangered animals.
